About us

DIGI-ELEVATE is a European initiative that drives digital transformation by strengthening the digital readiness, resilience, and capacity of micro-entrepreneurs. The project responds to EU horizontal priorities and VET objectives, helping increase the attractiveness of vocational education and training while aligning it with labour market needs. Its mission is to reduce Europe’s digital skills gap by developing and updating essential competences required to navigate an increasingly competitive and technology-driven business environment.

As emerging technologies such as automation, machine learning, and voice-based applications reshape sectors and customer interactions, businesses need strategic approaches to identify and integrate digital tools that generate real value. DIGI-ELEVATE provides innovative methods that help micro-entrepreneurs understand, assess, and adopt the most suitable digital solutions, balancing experimentation with smart, value-oriented investments. In doing so, the project supports informed and confident use of digital technologies that enhance competitiveness, customer engagement, and business sustainability.

Grounded in evidence from key EU reports highlighting persistent digital skill shortages and challenges in accessing qualified talent, DIGI-ELEVATE develops VET-based learning resources and strategies that reinforce digital literacy, innovation capacity, and long-term resilience. Its overarching goal is to contribute to a more productive, inclusive, and future-ready society where micro-entrepreneurs are empowered to harness digital innovation for sustainable growth.
